Engineered Specifically for the TyphoonDUO ecowise® System

Sundew PROFOG has been specifically developed and optimised for use with TyphoonDUO Concentrate ecowise® with Natural Pyrethrin, forming an integrated thermal fogging system designed to deliver consistent, high-performance results.

The advanced surfactant technology within PROFOG enables effective interaction with TyphoonDUO’s water-based microemulsion formulation, ensuring stable mixing, reliable fog generation and consistent application performance. This compatibility is critical when combining water-based formulations with thermal fogging systems, where standard fogging agents may result in instability, separation or reduced fog quality.

For optimal performance, reliability and consistency in thermal fogging applications, TyphoonDUO should be used exclusively with Sundew PROFOG as part of the complete Sundew system.

Sundew PROFOG ™ is designed to generate an ultra-fine, dense fog capable of distributing insecticidal actives deep into difficult-to-reach treatment zones. This fine particle size improves penetration into harbourage areas including wall voids, structural cavities, enclosed spaces and inaccessible cracks and crevices where insects may hide or breed.

Its performance characteristics make PROFOG particularly suited to applications across warehousing, food processing facilities, grain silos, agricultural buildings, vector control programs and general industrial pest management situations where thorough space treatment is essential.

Extended Hang Time for Improved Treatment Efficiency

The effectiveness of thermal fogging is heavily influenced by how long insecticide particles remain suspended within the treatment environment. PROFOG has been engineered to produce a thick, stable fog with extended airborne suspension, increasing exposure time between the active ingredient and target pests.

This extended hang time enhances treatment effectiveness against both flying and crawling insects while improving penetration throughout enclosed spaces. Compared with water-only dilution, which can result in rapid settling and reduced coverage, PROFOG delivers a more consistent and effective fogging profile.

PROFOG incorporates an advanced ethoxylated alcohol surfactant system designed to support compatibility across a wide range of pesticide formulations. This allows PROFOG to interact effectively with both aqueous and oil-based products, including microemulsions, emulsifiable concentrates and other water-based systems.

This formulation flexibility enables operators to achieve reliable fogging performance while supporting the use of modern lower solvent and water-based formulations such as TyphoonDUO ecowise®.

Sundew PROFOG™ has been developed to provide exceptional compatibility across a broad range of formulation types used through thermal fogging equipment, including EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate), EW (Emulsion in Water), ME (Microemulsion), SL (Soluble Liquid) and DC formulations. In addition to insecticide applications, PROFOG is also compatible with many water-based disinfectants and sanitising solutions including glutaraldehyde, peracetic acid and formaldehyde-based products. This versatility allows PROFOG to be utilised across a wide variety of applications including industrial facilities, commercial premises, food processing plants, domestic pest control, agriculture, grain silos, vector control programs, shipping holds, shipping containers, warehouses and general hygiene and sanitation programs where effective thermal fogging performance and deep space penetration are required.

Flexible Application Characteristics

PROFOG has been designed to provide flexibility in how thermal fogging treatments are performed. It can be used neat to generate an ultra-light fog capable of penetrating deeply into cracks, crevices and inaccessible harbourage areas. In this application mode, fine atomisation allows insecticide particles to remain airborne for extended periods, improving treatment contact and effectiveness.

Alternatively, PROFOG may be combined with water where increased fog density or visibility is required. This adaptability allows pest management professionals to tailor fogging characteristics to suit specific treatment environments and operational requirements.

PROFOG features a high flashpoint formulation, with a flashpoint greater than 96°C, and is classified as non-flammable.
